The first MedHatBids.com auction is done and in the books. Overall it wasn’t as well attended as I would have liked but it went not to bad for the first auction sale. Here are a few updates on what is happening in regard to the lest sale and the next sale:
- I am still waiting patiently for HiBid to set up the Credit Card system for MedHatBids.com. This should be happening in the next week. Once it is completed, there will be no further wait to pay for the items purchased with an easy to use link in the invoice. (so they tell me)
- I am not doing any more online auctions until the Canada Post strike is over. I have one customer from the last sale indicate they would like me to send their purchase using FedEx. The item going to Illinois in the US would cost a minimal CAN$65.00 to send… and that is the cheapest option!! Buy something for $10 and spend an additional $65 for shipping. I don’t think so FedEx! I even found out that with the recent rush of Christmas packages. FedEx and Purolator are not even accepting any further parcels at this time.
- All that to say that if you bought something. I am storing it for free and I will send the invoice when the strike is over. I am okay if anyone no longer wants the items they bought because of the strike.
- So watch for UPCOMING SALE news when I have the next sale ready to go. I am working on setting it up so as soon as they go back to work. The next sale will go live.
